Dr. Queiroz
Dr. Queiroz, 60, is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, with a Ph. D. in Psychocybernetic Medicine, in Germany, where he lived from 1975 to 1980. During this time, he finished his study in Gestalt-therapy with Werner Arnett, a direct disciple of Perls; he studied and experienced the anthroposophical vision of Medicine and Psychotherapy, at “Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus”, in Herdecke; he studied Zen deeply, with Graf Dürkheim; he has also studied Kinomichi, a technique originating in Aikido, with master Noro, a direct disciple of master Ueshiba, founder of the movement. He has lived and exercised psychotherapy in Paris since 1981 and has dedicated the last twenty years, from his thirty years of experience with psychotherapeutic techniques, to research the techniques that best answer the questions of those who look for help to heal their psychic maladies, according to each individual’s personality. He has subsequently developed methods of personal development that utilize emotions as well as the body, reason and intuition as ways in the search for “one’s self”. Author of the book The Phenix: from Psychic Death to Birth of Thought, published by Madras Publishing house. Founder of the Phenix Culture Movement, which is located in France, Brazil, and Spain, where he regularly gives lectures and workshops.
